當地時(shí)間24日，CNN刊登了一篇文章“無(wú)人機、消毒機器人、超級計算機——新冠肺炎疫情是對中國技術(shù)企業(yè)的一次測試”，一一列舉了中國疫情中用的一些新技術(shù)。

China has spent decades nurturing its tech sector. Now, faced with a massive public health crisis, Beijing is pushing its tech companies to join the fight against the novel coronavirus.過(guò)去的幾十年中，中國始終致力于發(fā)展高科技產(chǎn)業(yè)�，F在，面臨著(zhù)公共衛生危機的時(shí)刻，中國的科技公司走上一線(xiàn)對抗新冠病毒。

The country's tech giants have responded to the outbreak by deploying autonomous vehicles to bring supplies to medical workers, fitting drones with thermal cameras to improve detection of the virus and lending their computing power to help develop a vaccine.

中國的科技公司參與抗疫的形式多種多樣，包括用自動(dòng)車(chē)給醫護人員送餐、給無(wú)人機加裝熱成像儀，以及為研制疫苗貢獻出部分計算機算力。

自動(dòng)駕駛機器人

CNN首先注意到的，是送貨機器人，文章中這樣描述：

Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com (JD) recently enlisted self-driving robots to bring goods to medical workers in the central Chinese city of Wuhan.在武漢，電子商務(wù)公司京東啟用自動(dòng)駕駛機器人給醫護人員送補給。

The bots, which look and run much like pint-sized vehicles, have been delivering packages to a hospital that primarily treats coronavirus patients. The route is relatively short — about 600 meters to the hospital — but cutting humans out of the equation has helped protect customers and employees.這些機器人看起來(lái)很像一個(gè)矮小的小車(chē)，主要工作是給收治病人的醫院送快遞。路徑不長(cháng)，也就600米，但有了小車(chē)就能避免人員接觸，從而保護醫護人員也保護快遞員。

其次上榜的是無(wú)人機。

Drones have also been put to use during the outbreak. The technology allows authorities to scan through large crowds and spot if someone's in need of medical attention...無(wú)人機也被應用到抗疫中來(lái)。這一技術(shù)使得政府能大批量掃描人群，并識別出是否有人需要醫療救助……

高速計算機

高速計算機也成了CNN關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)：

This month, Tencent opened up its super-computing facilities — which include machines that can run calculations much faster than an ordinary PC — to help researchers racing to find a cure.

就在本月，騰訊公司開(kāi)放了其超級算力設施，包括比普通計算機快得多的機器，以幫助研究人員尋找治療措施。

 

And Didi, China's biggest ride-hailing provider, has teamed up with medical and aid organizations to allow workers who need to perform tasks related to data analysis, online simulation or logistical support to use Didi's servers for free.

中國最大的打車(chē)軟件滴滴則與醫療和救助組織聯(lián)手，讓那些需要做數據分析、物流或者網(wǎng)上仿真的人免費使用其服務(wù)器。

外媒關(guān)注中國高科技抗疫

除CNN之外，中國的抗疫無(wú)人機、機器人也登上其它多家外媒，在西方輿論場(chǎng)中形成一個(gè)新熱點(diǎn)。

《商業(yè)內幕》（Business Insider）分享了一張視頻截圖，是一臺叫“小花生”的送餐機器人給隔離人員送餐。

全球電氣電子工程師學(xué)會(huì )IEEE官網(wǎng)也登了小花生的視頻，說(shuō)這些機器人能送藥、能送飯，還能打掃房間（using robots to deliver medicine, food, and disinfect rooms）。

列舉了中國抗疫機器人之后，他們還采訪(fǎng)了休斯敦賴(lài)斯大學(xué)的機器人專(zhuān)家Marcia O'Malley教授，這位教授對中國機器人一頓狠夸：

O'Malley said robots in China can do more than deliver medicine, however. Some can scan medicine inventory and remove outdated supplies. Others can spray disinfectants and can even prevent the spread of infectious diseases in public spaces.

O'Malley說(shuō)中國的機器人能干的可不止是送藥。有些能掃描藥品庫存，清理過(guò)期部分；有些能在公共場(chǎng)所噴灑消毒液以防止傳染病傳播。

 

"Robots can help with decontamination and reducing human-to-human transmission risk by reducing exposure," O'Malley said. "Artificial intelligence might be helpful in data science aspects, tracking information about the spread of cases to determine risk profiles and identify ways to limit spread if we understand better how it is spread.”

他說(shuō)：“機器人有助于消除污染，減少人在病毒污染環(huán)境中的暴露，從而減少人傳人風(fēng)險。AI或許能在數據科學(xué)方面起作用，追溯傳染病的傳播信息、確定危險程度，并找出限制傳染病傳播的辦法。”

新加坡的《海峽時(shí)報》則把目光投向了廣東。

Over in Guangzhou, in southern Guangdong province, 5G-powered patrolling robots remind the public of the importance of frequent hand-washing and the mandatory donning of masks. The robots are also equipped with high-resolution cameras and infrared thermometers that are capable of scanning the body temperatures of 10 people at once.在廣州市，裝有5G網(wǎng)絡(luò )的機器人來(lái)回巡邏，向公眾普及勤洗手和戴口罩的必要性。這些機器人也裝備有高科技攝像機和紅外線(xiàn)測溫儀，能同時(shí)掃描10人的體溫。

連建筑設計雜志Dezeen都跨界來(lái)報道了，精心選了一張紫外線(xiàn)消毒的配圖，藍紫色調，藝術(shù)范：

Unmanned vehicles, both arial and terrestrial, have allowed the Chinese government to reduce the number of people put at risk of catching the virus.無(wú)論是天上的無(wú)人機，還是地上的無(wú)人車(chē)，都讓中國有能力降低公眾感染的風(fēng)險。

彭博社也深入廣東，找到了一家做無(wú)人機的企業(yè)。

Guangzhou-based agriculture drone manufacturer XAG is working to deploy a fleet of drones that can spray disinfectant on affected areas such as bus and train stations and other public spaces.廣州農業(yè)無(wú)人機企業(yè)XAG正努力裝備一支無(wú)人機群，主要目的是對包括汽車(chē)站、火車(chē)站在內的公共場(chǎng)所灑消毒液。

記得十幾二十年前，外媒提到中國還都是以國際關(guān)系報道為主，很少花篇幅報道中國科技進(jìn)步。

慢慢地，外媒關(guān)于中國科技的報道越來(lái)越多，用詞也越來(lái)越走向正面，這一波中國高科技抗疫的報道就是典型。

這一轉變的背后，是中國科技扎扎實(shí)實(shí)的進(jìn)步，而這一進(jìn)步是幾代科技工作者的努力換來(lái)的�？萍歼M(jìn)步不易，且行且珍惜。
