從當地時(shí)間3月7日世衛組織發(fā)布的最新疫情報告來(lái)看,中國以外,全球93個(gè)國家和地區已出現確診病例,日新增確診達3633例。
隨著(zhù)各國確診人數不斷增多,多國民眾開(kāi)始搶購物資,其中澳大利亞民眾搶購衛生紙的新聞特別引人關(guān)注。

據BBC報道,上周末澳大利亞出現首例本土死亡病例,確診病例數不斷上升,當地人感到很恐慌。
澳大利亞衛生署8日公布的數據
官方指南建議人們保持衛生、勤洗手,如果需要可以囤些食物和日常用品。
Official guidance advised people to practice good hygiene and wash their hands. It was also suggested that people could prepare two weeks' worth of food and water, as well as other household goods, if they felt it necessary.

The coronavirus outbreak has disrupted manufacturing in China, which is one of the world’s key suppliers of toilet paper.
That’s prompted fears there may be a shortage in Australia, but experts say there’s no need to worry.

The supermarket shelf itself also sends signals. Toilet paper is bulky and, as it’s removed, the shelves look empty quickly, which triggers the perceptions of scarcity. In reality, the situation appears worse than it actually is.

"It's much more noticeable than say 50 cans of baked beans or hand sanitiser disappearing.

Another explanation for the phenomenon is what’s known as the FOMO — fear of missing out — syndrome, Associate Professor Nitika Garg, a consumer behavior researcher at the University of New South Wales, told the news outlet.
“They think if this person is buying it, if my neighbor is buying, there’s got to be a reason and I need to get in too,” she said.
