On the landscape front there’s beautiful Lake Zurich, with nature reserves that are home to rare birds and flora, along with mountains as far as the eye can see, all well worth exploring on foot or from the glory of a glider with its bird’s-eye view.
Close by, too, is the enchanting town of Rapperswil. The Old Town and its cobbled streets are a wonderful place to just amble and enjoy; and the castle, the waterside promenade and the wooden walkway that leads across the lake to the village of Hurden all give the town its own unique feel.
