第四屆中國國際進(jìn)口博覽會(huì )于11月5日至10日在上海舉行。中國國際進(jìn)口博覽局副局長(cháng)孫成海日前介紹，本屆進(jìn)博會(huì )總展覽面積進(jìn)一步擴容，達到36.6萬(wàn)平方米。世界500強和行業(yè)龍頭企業(yè)參展回頭率超過(guò)80%。共有來(lái)自127個(gè)國家和地區的近3000家參展商亮相企業(yè)展。58個(gè)國家和3個(gè)國際組織參加國家展，有15個(gè)國家首次在國家展亮相，其中5個(gè)國家是首次參與進(jìn)博會(huì )。
The fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) is held from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai. The total exhibition area of this year's CIIE will be further expanded to 366,000 square meters. Over 80% of Fortune Global 500 and industrial leaders who participated in the fair last year will return for the fourth CIIE, according to Sun Chenghai, deputy head of the CIIE Bureau. From the exhibitor side, nearly 3,000 businesses from 127 countries and regions will participate in this year's CIIE. A total of 58 countries and three international organizations will take part in the country exhibition, which will see 15 countries joining this exhibition for the first time and five making their debut at the CIIE, according to Sun.

近日，單詞Vax（打疫苗）被《牛津英語(yǔ)詞典》評為年度詞匯。由于新冠肺炎疫情，2021年與疫苗相關(guān)的詞匯更加頻繁出現，“接種過(guò)兩劑疫苗的”（ double-vaxxed）、“未接種疫苗的（unvaxxed）”和“反對疫苗人士”（ anti-vaxxer）這些詞匯的使用頻率驟增。Vax第一次出現在上世紀80年代，作為名詞使用；隨后在21世紀初開(kāi)始，逐漸作為動(dòng)詞使用。
Vax has been chosen as the word of the year by lexicographers at the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). Words related to vaccines have spiked in frequency in 2021 due to Covid, with double-vaxxed, unvaxxed and anti-vaxxer all seeing a surge in use. The word first appeared as a noun in the 1980s and then started to be used as a verb in the early 21st century, according to the report.

據新華社10月28日報道，住房和城鄉建設部、應急管理部近日發(fā)布通知，要求各地嚴格控制新建超高層建筑，實(shí)行超高層建筑決策責任終身制。通知要求，城區常住人口300萬(wàn)以上城市嚴格限制新建250米以上超高層建筑，不得新建500米以上超高層建筑。相關(guān)建筑設計應考量防火及抗震表現。
China has restricted cities from building super high-rises, reported Xinhua on Oct 28. A notice issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said that in cities with an urban population of above 3 million, the construction of buildings above 500 meters is banned. Buildings taller than 250 meters can only be built under strict restrictions. For example, the construction plans should be reviewed for fire safety and seismic performance. Those who approve super high-rise projects will take lifelong responsibility.
*根據我國建筑相關(guān)規定，超高層建筑指40層以上或高度100米以上的建筑物。超高層建筑還可以表達為super-tall building或skyscraper (摩天大樓)。
