"Not" 的巧用 大家都知道, 說(shuō)話(huà)和寫(xiě)文章是有很大的不同的, 說(shuō)話(huà)講求的是能夠清楚地表達自己的意思, 因此在用字上要力求簡(jiǎn) 單扼要, 但重點(diǎn)部份要強調出來(lái). 你能夠清楚地掌握這個(gè)重點(diǎn)嗎? 現在來(lái)考考你, 如果有人問(wèn)你, "Did you break this plate?" 你要強調這不是我干的, 你會(huì )怎么說(shuō)? 你會(huì )不會(huì )說(shuō), "No, I didn't." 但是要注意喔! "No, I didn't" 只是說(shuō), "我沒(méi)有作" 這跟 "不是我干的" 有很大的差別喔.. 那正確的說(shuō)法應該是怎樣? 讓我們來(lái)看看 "Not" 的用 法. 1. Not me. 不是我. 嘿... 沒(méi)想到這么簡(jiǎn)單吧! 這種看似簡(jiǎn)單, 文法也不對的句子, 卻是老美天天掛在嘴邊的話(huà). 這句話(huà)簡(jiǎn)單明了, 而且 把重點(diǎn) "不是我" 給強調出來(lái). 這是非常好的一個(gè)句子. 另外, 老美也很喜歡講 "Wasn't me." 這跟 "Not me." 都是一樣的意思, 同樣強調這不是我干的. 還有像以前大家很流行機車(chē)聯(lián)誼, 結果很不幸你的鑰匙被恐龍給抽中了, 你就可以望天長(cháng)嘆說(shuō), "Oh, not me." (怎 么會(huì )是我呢?) 或是你也可以說(shuō), "Why me?" 2(世博北京翻譯公司). Not today. 不要今天啦. 這種用法常常用在二個(gè)人相約時(shí)間的時(shí)候. 例如有人找你去看電影, "Do you want to go to see the movie?" 你 就可以說(shuō), "Oh, not today" 這表示出你還是蠻想去的, 只不過(guò)今天不行. 另外 "Not at this moment." 或是 "Not now." 也蠻常用的. 3. Not a word. 保持安靜. "Not a word" 跟 "Be quiet." 一樣都是要別人安靜下來(lái)的意思. 例如你跟朋友去看電影, 結果電影都開(kāi)演了, 你 的朋友還在嘰嘰喳喳講個(gè)不停, 這時(shí)候你就可以跟他說(shuō), "Shhhhhhh. Not a word." 或是 "Be quiet." 要是你真 的已經(jīng)很煩了,就說(shuō) "Shut up!" 4. Not so fast. 不要那么快啦. 有些男女朋友第一次約會(huì )就牽牽手, 如果你是女生, 覺(jué)得這樣子實(shí)在是太快了, 你就可以說(shuō), "Hey, not so fast." 同樣的, 有些男生去陪女朋友就像例行公事一樣, 隨便敷衍個(gè)二句就想走人, 這時(shí)女生就可以說(shuō), "Not so fast." 5. Not a chance. 一點(diǎn)機會(huì )也沒(méi)有. 這句話(huà)根 "You don't have any chance" 是一樣的, 都是表示根本就沒(méi)有機會(huì ). 例如比賽前別人問(wèn)你, "Can we beat them?" 你就可以說(shuō), "Not a chance" 跟 Not a chance 意思相當的句子有很多, 例如 "Not really", "Not in a million years", "Not in my life time" 或是 "Not in your life time" 例如你要跟朋友去打球, 你朋友說(shuō), "You man. I'm gonna kick your ass!" 你 就可以說(shuō), "In your dream, pal! Not in your life time" 意思就是, 作你的大頭夢(mèng)去吧! 我看在你的有生之年是 不可能了! 6.
