This book is three times as long as （three times longer than，three times the length of ）that one. 這本書(shū)的篇幅是那本書(shū)的 3 倍（即長(cháng)兩倍） 。 很明顯時(shí)， 注：當相比的對象 B 很明顯時(shí)，than（as，of）B 常被省去。 （ ， ） 常被省去。 （二）increase to n times（4） （ ） increase n times／n-fold（5） ／ （ ） increase by n times（6） （ ） increase by a factor of n（7） （ ） 以上四式均應譯為：增加到 n 倍（或：增加 n-1 倍） 。 Eg.
